Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Knox College invites applications for the position of Staff Accountant, reporting to the Controller.
Essential Duties: Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts Maintaining general ledger accounts Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals Education and Experience: Required Qualifications: Candidates must have an Associate’s in Accounting degree or equivalent related work experience.
The successful candidate must possess strong time management and analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid communication abilities.
Strong technology skills are critical, particularly expertise with Sage and Microsoft Excel.
