Come join the Two Rivers Team! POSITION PURPOSE The learning and development officer will be responsible for leading, overseeing, developing, and maintaining training programs aligned to the strategic needs and initiatives across all of Two Rivers Financial Group.
This role will partner with human resources, senior leaders, and various departments to assess training needs and to develop and deliver cohesive training solutions.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the training roadmap necessary to ensure optimum employee retention, support employee career pathing, and building a training process that will be embedded in the Two Rivers culture.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in education, finance or related field, or equivalent combination of schooling, training, and work experience.
7-10 years of banking experience.
Retail banking experience, including extensive knowledge of retail banking products and services.
Management level experience.
Staff training experience.
Broad knowledge of bank systems and banking compliance/regulations.
Retail sales experience.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Presentation/Desktop Publishing Software, Computer-based Training Software, Learning Management System Software, Video Software (Zoom, Go-to-Meeting, Teams) Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and the coordination of people and resources.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Understanding effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Drive excellence in onboarding; continually looking to support new hires and managers and ensures the onboarding experience is equitable and scalable while protecting Two Rivers’ talent investment and retention strategies.
Partner with department leaders to assist with, create and implement trainings while using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the content and target audience.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems, while considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
Assists with Two Rivers’ annual Huddle and LEAP leadership program planning, scheduling, as well as working with external vendors.
Managing one's own time and the time of others.
Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance relative to the goals of the system.
Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.
SCHEDULE/TRAVEL/STATUS Full-time, Non-exempt In-office Position (Not Remote) Moderate travel to all Two Rivers locations.
