Essential Functions for the Accountant Include:
*Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
*Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
*Process payments and verify invoices.
*Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
*Key data of financial transactions in database on a daily basis.
*Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
*Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
*Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
*Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
Minimum Required Education and Experience for the Accountant Include:
*Must have a minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting to be considered.
*2 to 4 years of experience performing bookkeeping/accounting functions.
*Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliations required.
*Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
*Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
*Accuracy and attention to detail.
*Aptitude for numbers.
*Solid work history is required to be considered.
