Our client is looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk who is willing to assist in the retail store.
Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Some flexibility available to work 30 hours per week if not interested in full time hours.
Rate of Pay: $18.
00 to $22.
00 per hour depending on background and qualifications.
Essential Functions for the Accounting Clerk Include:
*Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
*Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
*Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
*Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
*Operate 10-key calculators to perform calculations and produce documents.
*Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and vouchers.
*Reconcile bank accounts.
*Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.
*Assist in the retail operations as needed.
Minimum Required Qualifications for the Accounting Clerk Include:
*Must have proven bookkeeping experience and a solid work history.
*Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles, payroll and payroll taxes.
*Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
*Data entry and ten key skills.
*Must be customer service orientation.
*High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Must have MS Office and QuickBooks knowledge.
