*Job Summary:* Seeking a customer-service representative to join our fast-paced, customer focused collision center.
Your days will fly by, and you’ll have fun working with our dynamic team.
Must be organized, driven, personable, and detail oriented.
Must have great verbal and written communication skills.
You will be responsible for creating a great experience for our customers.
Experience in the auto industry or handling insurance claims is a plus! This is a full time, 40 hours per week position, with a rotating Saturday shift required a minimum of monthly.

*Essential Job Functions:*
* Greet all walk-in customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer and direct all phone traffic in a polite, and cheerful manner.
* Explain DCC’s repair process, including insurance claims processing, payment procedures, repair techniques, repair needs, limited lifetime warranty and expected delivery date of repair.
* Gather customer information and verify preferred contact method, to best obtain authorization signatures.
* Schedule estimate appointments and ensure that estimators are aware of these appointments.
Provide appointment reminders, rescheduling with customer as needed.
* Keep customers informed during the repair progress, minimum of bi-weekly, documenting every correspondence.
Schedule vehicle deliveries, ensuring satisfaction surveys are completed post-repair.
* Handle customer concerns promptly and in a pleasant manner.
* Confirm upcoming appointments.
* Collecting payments
* Review insurance assignments and providing outreach to potential customers.
* Make referrals and provide correspondence regarding outside vendors.
* Schedule rental reservations.
* Track and record referrals.
* Must maintain a professional appearance and work effectively with people.
* Maintain front office and customer reception areas.
* Overseeing our social media and website content including the leveraging of social media and marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s online presence.
Interacting with customers and via the company’s social media accounts.
* Ability to be flexible as the job may require additional hours, outside of scheduled shifts.
* Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position, as assigned.
*Qualifications/Requirements:*
* Must have a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalency) and have Customer Service Representative experience.
* Must have valid driver’s license and personal auto insurance as required by the State of Iowa.
* Must have reliable personal transportation.
* Must have access to a telephone.
* Satisfactory results on background checks.
* Computer literate with knowledge of data base programs and Microsoft Office.
* Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without restrictions.
