The Customer Service Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through processing orders, preparing general correspondence, and coordinating customer needs with other functions as required.
Employee may serve as customer contact regarding such matters as pricing, scheduling, shipping, and any product delays caused by machine issues.
The qualified candidate will ensure accurate order entry for ignition products.
The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential to your success at Tenneco.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.
Specific proficiency levels for each job skill required are defined in the Skills Requirement Checklist for this job title.
Entering orders in the operating system accurately and completed in a timely manner.
Scheduling to ensure orders are entered according to our lead time.
Respond to customers in a professional and timely manner.
Knowing how to prioritize tasks while also being flexible when unexpected situations occur.
Know how navigate through the different customers’ internet portals.
Communicate effectively the customer’s needs with the rest of the plant.
EDUCATION:
Associates degree or bachelors degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Background should include knowledge of parts and nomenclature as well as a demonstrated ability to positively and effectively work with customers.
Typing skills is necessary (40-50 wpm) as well as demonstrated ability, experience with and knowledge of the internet based systems is also required.
