IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Dispatcher!
Financially stable, well established company is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team.
Hours for the Dispatcher are 2nd/3rd shift 5:00pm to 5:00am, rotating schedule with overtime.
Rate of Pay is $19.
00 TO $20.
00 per hour with an additional $1.
50 per hour night differential.
Essential Functions for the Dispatcher Include:
*Scheduling drivers to make freight deliveries
*Communicating with customer service representatives about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
*Planning pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed.
*Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pickup times.
*Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply.
*Reviewing driver logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times.
*Monitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules.
*Logging customer shipping schedules and complaints.
Minimum Required Qualifications for the Dispatcher Include:
*Must be customer service oriented.
A
*Able to communication in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written.
*Previous dispatch experience is preferred.
*Must have good problem solving skills and able to make decisions.
