*CORE FACULTY POSITION IN COUNSELOR EDUCATION (Residential or Remote)*

Culver-Stockton College offers its master's degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling to prepare students pursuing licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in Missouri (LPC) or school counselor.
The program is designed for working adults with classes offered online and (2) one week-long campus residencies.
The program is seeking CACREP accreditation.
The program has a small department of dedicated faculty members who prioritize a commitment to multiculturalism and social justice, the development of competent and compassionate counselors, as well as maintenance of a collegial work environment based on respect and shared responsibility for programmatic success.
*Position Description: *Culver-Stockton College invites applications for a full 9-month Core Faculty position in Counselor Education to begin as early as summer or fall of 2024.
The College will consider applicants as either residential or remote positions.
Those who serve in an on campus residential capacity would be considered for a tenure-track position as Assistant or Associate Professor of Counselor Education.
Applicants who elect for a remote assignment would be eligible for a non-tenure track position as Lecturer of Counselor Education.
Depending on years of teaching and relevant professional experience, a remote non-tenure track position may receive advanced appointment as Senior Lecturer in Counselor Education.
*Responsibilities:*
· Design and teach online courses and in-person week-long summer residencies.
· Provide clinical supervision, advise students, and attend graduation.
· Assist with CACREP accreditation activities, and provide service to the department, college, community, and profession.
· Relate professional/industry experience to learning by the continuation of professional skills development, the introduction of industry perspective into courses, and the active awareness of professional/industry trends and opportunities.
*Qualifications:*
· Doctorate in Counselor Education.
· ABD candidates will be considered; degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.
· Must be either Missouri licensed or license eligible as a Licensed Professional Counselor or a certified school counselor.
· Must have at least two years of clinical and/or teaching experience at the graduate level in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or School Counseling.
· Must have a demonstrated multicultural and social justice worldview, membership and active involvement in professional counseling organizations.
· Must have a sense of humor.
· Candidates with school counseling credentials are strongly preferred.
· Preferred experiences include online course design and delivery, supervising and advising counseling students, and working with CACREP.
