Responsibilities:
Western Illinois University seeks an Enrollment and Retention Data Analyst in Macomb, IL.
Duties: Proficient analytical skills following policies, procedures, and guidelines for creating, cleaning, and analyzing large data sets and other project management activities.
Intermediate financial analyses.
Intermediate coding and inferential statistics in statistical software (e.
g.
, SAS, SPSS).
Intermediate predicative analytics.
Intermediate programming language acquisition for processing and analyzing data (e.
g.
, Python, R).
Basic systems programming (update/retrieval from predefined instructions).
Assists in documentation and communication of complex data projects.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors in quantitative science such as computer science, economics, finance, math sciences, psychology, statistics or related quantitative field.
One (1) year of work experience in the application of quantitative research design and use of statistical, graphical, spreadsheet, and database software packages performing: quantitative research, financial or economic analyses, research designs, or data models; advanced statistical methods (e.
g.
, inferential statistics and/or predictive analytics); data analytics using statistical software (e.
g.
, SAS, SPSS); SQL programming language acquisition (e.
g.
, Python, R); data visualization.
