This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position that reports to the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs and is located on the JWCC campus in Quincy, Illinois.
Position begins in January 2023.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position serves as an administrator for the college's Student Services area and supervises the areas of: Admissions, Advising and Retention, Enrollment, and Financial Aid, Support Services (TRiO), Disability Services, Student Life, Athletics, and Counseling Services.
Functions of this position include:
Ensure the delivery of effective and quality services and programs to students that promote student success and the student experience on campus
Provide leadership for enrollment initiatives and coordinate strategic initiatives to grow enrollment.
Provide leadership for Financial Aid and oversee compliance with federal, state, and ICCB regulations.
Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance for the overall operation, personnel, and budgetary management of the Student Services areas in coordination with the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs.
Serve as the Title IX Coordinator, Behavioral Intervention Team Lead, and Student Conduct Officer
Serve as a member of the President's Cabinet and serve as the primary Student Services representative at Board meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree with a Master's degree preferred AND 5 or more years of experience supervising a division of student services.
Three or more years at a Director level or equivalent in student services preferred.
