Responsibilities:
- Represent the State in legal proceedings, such as hearings, trials, and depositions
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Collaborate with colleagues and experts to build strong cases
- Assistance with investigations, charging of criminal cases, interaction and training with law enforcement.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the State of Iowa
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Strong work ethic and dedication to client advocacy

Pay: $72,833.
