Moellring & Ambler, LLC is a law firm based in Quincy, Illinois representing disabled veterans throughout the United States.
We are currently seeking a full-time case assistant to join our Veterans Disability Advocate Team.

We are looking for motivated, talented, legal support team members to assist in advocating on behalf of the veteran community.
The successful applicant will be able to handle a wide variety of tasks in a busy office environment, who enjoys working with veterans, is detail oriented and has a plethora of patience.

* Ability to build relationships and work with people of diverse backgrounds
* A desire to advocate on behalf of disabled veterans and claimants
* Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office 365 and client management software
* An associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
* Prior service in the United States Military will be considered
* Familiarity with medical terminology a plus but not required
* Previous experience in a law firm or business setting preferred
*Responsibilities*
* Preparing and presenting applications, appeals and administrative agency paperwork
* Developing evidence, advising and advocating for clients at all stages of the disability process
* Review claims files, medical records and interpret medical opinions
* Assist attorneys and team members with organizing, labeling and maintaining client files
* Answer and direct client phone calls
* Schedule client appointments, calendar and monitor deadlines
* Prepare and send legal documents to clients
* Provide support to our veteran advocate team leaders
This is a Full-time, in person, position, although we would consider a remote option after in-person training, for the right candidate.

Pay: $22.
00 - $25.
00 per hour
