Production Supervisor

*Role and Responsibilities* * Supervise 10-20 employees on the plant floor * Receive all ingredients, truck and rail, and transfer to the appropriate bins * · Samples from all loads prior to receiving according to established procedures and notify supervisor immediately if out-of-spec conditions exist * · Batch and mix all feeds in accordance with company’s established quality control procedures * · Properly weigh all premix additions per established formulations * · Use pre-established operating parameters to grind, extrude and dry various rations so all feeds meet the company’s standards for product quality * · Operate liquid applicator to spray on a pre-determined amount of liquid according to company specifications * · Operate product analyzer to ensure all finished product meets company quality guarantees * · Safely operate the above-mentioned equipment starting and stopping in a manner so not to harm the equipment, yourself or fellow employees * · Follow all plant safety rules * Qualifications and Education Requirements * · 18+ years of age * · High school diploma or GED * Preferred Skills * · Prior forklift experience * · Prior supervisor experience *Working Conditions* * Indoor/outdoor working conditions * No heat or air conditioning * Concrete floors *Physical Requirements* * Ability to lift 60 pounds Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
