REPORTS TO: Location Manager STATUS: Exempt
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Manage and maintain physical inventory and physical aspects of the assigned warehouse.
The warehouse manager will work under the supervision of the Location Manager and assist in daily operational duties at the facility.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Coordinates distribution, warehousing, and purchasing of assigned product lines for location.
Ensure the accompanying paperwork is accurate and submit it to the accounting department and inventory manager.
Ensure that proper invoices are supplied and accurate.
Keep and maintain warehouse facilities and inventories.
Keep an inventory of items sold through the warehouse facility.
Delivers products to customers according to company standards and to increase potential sales; communicates sales leads to their supervisor.
Keep inventories in salable condition.
Develop programs to avoid obsolete inventory.
Blends products according to recommended rates and procedures.
Know present customers and their purchasing history.
Sell seed to walk-in customers.
Be knowledgeable about food plot seed and fertility and make recommendations to customers.
Knows product lines for seeds and recommended uses.
Other duties as required.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Submit required reports promptly; daily, weekly, and monthly.
Keep inventory reports current.
Keep a running inventory of seed corn and soybeans.
Project a good image of a company with the appearance and cleanliness of the warehouse and facility.
Display a positive attitude and enthusiasm in dealing with customers.
Support company credit policies.
Knowledge of petroleum products and equipment.
Ability to order and receive products.
Be able to learn Agvance and E-Supply.
Attend meetings as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Educations and Experience
Normally requires a college degree in agriculture or business and supervisory experience to demonstrate the ability to provide leadership.
Functional Competencies
Proven professional communication and customer service skills and the ability to comprehend simple instructions and communicate one-on-one and in small groups with customers and other employees.
Demonstrated time management and basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, along with the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Proven team-building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to use the computer, "attention to detail" skills, and use the computer to enhance business processes.

Other Requirements
Must have or have the ability to obtain a CDL with necessary endorsements and commercial applicator's license.
Continuously exposed or required to:
Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.
)
Noisy conditions
Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures
Lift 70-100 lbs.
Pushy heavy objects
Ability to work hours other than those considered normal at various times throughout the year to meet deadlines and demands.
Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training, including education on policies and procedures and additional training related to the position's requirements.
