Job Duties
-Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
-Complies with all federal, state, and local laws related to Public Health Nursing
-Maintains working knowledge of and compliance with all department policies and procedures
-Provides office, telephone, and home visits to pregnant and post-partum clients, as well as infants, enrolled in case management programs in Adams, Brown, Hancock, Pike, and Schuyler counties
-Maintain documentation of routine screening assessments, care plans, education, referral sources, and any additional needs for each client as directed by the state
-Educate the public regarding immunizations, benefits, and side effects
-Participate in immunization clinics and other clinical duties when required
Experience Preferred:
-Two years of professional experience working in the fields of maternal or pediatric health
- Experience building rapport and educating patients and families
- Efficiency with different computer programs
License/Certifications:
-Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of IL
-Must possess a valid motor vehicle license by the state of residence
-Must possess current auto insurance
-Must maintain CPR certification
