Your Role: As a Garage Technician you will perform safe and efficient repair and maintenance on company fleet, storage, and over the road refrigeration units.
Key duties may include:
Maintains proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of company fleet trailer refrigeration units
Maintains proficiency in all aspects of preventative maintenance procedures on company fleet of trailers
Tests, repairs, and/or replaces refrigeration components per established procedures
Completes required paperwork including equipment write-ups and work orders daily
Provides technical support to Level I technicians when needed
Provides temporary assistance in any area of the garage to support customers
Applies lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste in all areas of the position
Role Specifics:
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Hours: 8:30pm – 9:00am
Work both inside and outside in all weather conditions
Extensive standing and/or walking on concrete surfaces
We Need You To Have:
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver license
Demonstrated aptitude in PC/laptop computer skills
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
2 years of refrigeration experience or technical school graduate
We’d Like You To Have:
Previous experience performing semi-trailer repairs
Desire to be a strong team player working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
