Salesclerk Stihl Counter (part-time)

Salesclerk Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor on duty.
Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly JOB SUMMARY: To provide the best customer service and maximize sales through efficient execution of Company procedures and to uphold the Gold Standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Helping customer locate merchandise and informing customer of any product knowledge that may be helpful.
Verifying proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise.
Operating handheld Telxon and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Removing damaged merchandise from floor as needed.
Follow company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads.
Ensuring a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention and safety procedures.
Assist customers with special order requests and sales.
Attending store and job-related meetings along with completion of required Outfitter trainings.
Communicating with Customers, Management and all store employees.
Following all applicable Company, local, state and federal guidelines.
Ensuring that your work area is clean and has sufficient supplies to complete assigned duties.
As needed, operate cash registers and assist with customer carry outs.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Ability to operate pallet jacks and/or tow motors.
Weight lifting capability up to and including 50 lbs.
Other duties and responsibilities may be required as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Completes special projects directed by management and additional responsibilities may be assigned throughout the store at any given time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum Age requirement is 18 years old.
Must possess great customer service and communication skills.
