Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).
Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA.
Corporate offices are located in Memphis, TN.

Job Description
This position is a step up from an entry level position on the manufacturing floor.
Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required.
The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.
), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Keep lines stocked with packaging materials
Operate production lines through breaks and lunches
Step up when operator is not available
Fill out appropriate paper work while covering for line operator
Basic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment
Knowledge of basic operation of equipment on line
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Related Experience: Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge - data entry
Competencies:
Be active and participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams
Learn and follow written rules and procedures
Produce accurate documentation
Maintain acceptable attendance
Must be willing and able to learn various positions
Must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies
Additional Information
Physical: Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights.
