*Industrial Maintenance Technician*
*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team.
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment in an industrial setting.
Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the smooth operation of our production processes, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including motors, conveyor systems, pumps, and pneumatic tools.
* Collaborate with production personnel to understand equipment malfunctions and prioritize repairs to minimize production delays.
* Utilize various tools, diagnostic equipment, and software to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently.
* Install, align, and calibrate new equipment and machinery to meet operational requirements.
* Follow maintenance schedules and document all maintenance and repair activities accurately, including work performed, parts used, and time spent, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
* Coordinate and work with external contractors or service technicians when necessary for complex repairs or equipment upgrades.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance tasks.
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
* Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members, supervisors, and external vendors.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and the ability to adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
