WHAT TO EXPECT

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for our Galesburg, IL plant.
This individual will have the responsibility of coordinating the daily schedules for the department, work closely with the engineering group on project installations, and lead the maintenance department to achieve maintenance excellence goals.
Key responsibilities (to name a few):
Planning, directing, and coordinating the maintenance group work schedules
Supervising a variety of support staff personnel
Maintaining proper training levels through effective selection, interviewing and training of personnel
Maintain reporting
Interpreting and evaluating information, and applying judgment in setting working group priorities, interpreting policies, and establishing approaches
ABOUT YOU
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate/Technical Degree preferred
3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing field required
Leadership and decision making experience required
Ability to manage people, production, inventory, scheduling, and all associated functions needed for maintenance required
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong team player; proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross-training of all functions
Ability to build collaborative relationship
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to create and/or foster a positive work environment
Good computer knowledge required (Microsoft Word, Excel)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
